hey guys idk if anyone remembers me but I’m Hannah I was super active on tumblr 3 years ago and I was a supernatural/marvel/multifandom blog. I logged in today and I’ve been looking through some of my posts n stuff and I’m just kind of shocked to see how much I’ve changed since then. I was at the peak of my depression and anxiety and I made so many good friends and I met so many people on this website that were so genuine and kind and I am so thankful for that because I really lacked that irl at that time.

Literally fandom discourse largely just comes down to kids taking shit too seriously. It isn’t that deep. It really isn’t that deep. Fandoms aren’t that serious. Stop talking it so seriously. Stop putting so much negative energy into something that literally isn’t even real or that serious. Fandoms are fandoms they’re there purely for enjoyment. Just enjoy what you enjoy, avoid what you don’t, and let others do the same. Stop taking fandoms so seriously it literally isn’t that deep and was never meant to be. Lighten the fuck up kids, life will be so much nicer for you if you do.
hey guys you know what i discovered today? ed sheeran has a song that contains the lyric “and i know you love shrek / cause we’ve watched it twelve times”. do you know how i discovered this? because it came blaring over the speakers of the church at which i was playing the organ for a wedding blessing today, during the signing of the certificates, and i had to sit there in full view of the congregation trying to be as utterly professional as possible while mentally emotionally and spiritually coming to terms with the fact that i had just heard shrek name dropped, in the middle of an otherwise unremarkable corny love song by ed sheeran, during a literal actual religious ceremony. in other news im an ed sheeran hate blog now
